My name is Arie, also known as Safari Arie. I’m a 52-year-old Canadian who bicycled 26,000 km (16,156 miles) across Canada, through the U.S., and Mexico to my new home in Belize (Nov 2019 – Nov 2021). I survived the 2019 Canadian winter and the Covid-19 pandemic — all from the seat of my bike.
Today, I live as a farmer, blogger, and content creator in The Community Baboon Sanctuary here in Belize.
