I knew Jake originally as a Voortman Cookie distributor when I drove a truck (before this bike ride). I probably delivered to Jake 7-8 times over the years. Jake had a lot to do with my Oregon hosting experiences. On November 14, Jake made arrangements for me to stay at his aunt’s place in Nehalem, OR.
And then Jake made arrangements for me to stay at Youngberg Hill Winery in McMinnville for 3 nights, where his wife works. Probably the fanciest place that I have ever stayed.
Jake also had some custom ball caps made for me.
He also did some drone footage of me in McMinnville, and then 2 days after I left the winery came out to the coast to get some coastal drone footage of me.
