Arriving in Kingston March 19 to visit my aunt Henny on my way through seemed like it should have been fairly uneventful visit. Little did I know this visit would be on the eve of the escalation of the Covid-19 pandemic. My planned 3 day visit turned into a 2 month visit.
Though neither one of us saw this coming we made the best of it and made it work. Other then the frustration of being stuck and the uncertainty of the future I was about as blessed as I could have hoped to be arriving when I did given the circumstances. My aunt was gracious enough to rearrange her life to accommodate me. For this I will be forever grateful.
During my time in Kingston I was able to get caught up on my website and documenting. I made it on the front page of the local newspaper – The Whig Standard. I was able to swap out my studded tires and switch over winter gear.
