Channa Ayala of Sombrerete was determined to make sure I had a great time in Sombrerete. She fed many times at her restaurant. She is also a member of the mountain group that invited me to bike to the top of Cerro Sombreretillo. Channa was nice enough to lend me a mountain bike for the ride. When Channa discovered I made and sold jewelry, she went into overdrive advertising this and helped me sell quite a few pieces at her restaurant. On my way out of town, she was waving and cheering from the front of her restaurant.
