If you’re feeling overwhelmed by the unknowns of your first bike trip, my first-time bike touring consulting can help you plan, prepare, and ride with confidence.

Are you…

❓ Anxious about planning for your bike tour?

❓ Nervous about what to expect on the road?

❓ Anxious about your physical abilities and endurance?

❓ Apprehensive about getting lost?

❓ Worried about mechanical breakdowns?

❓ Apprehensive about your safety on unfamiliar roads?

❓ Nervous about getting lonely?

❓ Concerned about running out of water in remote areas?

❓ Nervous about overpacking or underpacking?

Sometimes, you just need someone to talk to — someone who’s been there.

🚴‍♀️ You’re not alone, my name is Arie — AKA Safari Arie

Let me guide and advise you through the uncertainty of these questions and more.

From November 2019 to November 2021, I rode over 26,000 km (16,156 miles) on a solo bike tour from Canada to Belize:

✔️ 12,000+ km across Canada, including 4,900 km through the 2019-20 Canadian winter (coldest night: -24°C / -11°F). The rest of the Canadian trip was through Covid-19.

✔️ 8,000 km across the USA during the height of Covid-19.

✔️ 6,000+ km through Mexico, including 30 brutal days in the 46°C / 115°F heat of the Baja desert.

Along the way:

✔️ I was hosted 85 times by generous strangers in 4 countries.

✔️ I wrote 250+ blog posts about my ride, each averaging 1,000 words.

✔️ I ran into every imaginable scenario and learned a thing or two about how to deal with all of it.
